We are looking for project sponsors!

Please reach out if you or someone you know may want to be a Research Ranger sponsor!

5/7/25

Hello,

Research Rangers (#1903) is an approved volunteer project in partnership with Hays County Master Naturalists (HCMN) and Texas State University (TXST). Both organizations are non-profits that support growing environmental content knowledge and science process skills within the Texas Hill Country. We aim to increase science literacy within the community as we support normalizing science within everyday life.

Research Rangers offers free outdoor science activities for youth, families, schools, libraries, and other non-profit organizations. Our current activity library can be found on our project website (https://researchrangers.wp.txstate.edu/) with new topics added regularly. Each activity is aligned with 3rd-5th grade TEKS and all eight science practice skills highlighted by NGSS. To help sustain our efforts, we are working with TXST students in biology, education, and communication, as well as leveraging HCMN volunteers to help run our community outreach events. We are excited at the prospect of continuing to offer and grow our programming. But to do so, we need help from generous sponsors like you!

We invite you to consider sponsoring one of our upcoming events (Sponsorship Tiers on Next Page) and/or provide donations/ financial support you we can purchase the necessary activity and outreach materials to continue bringing Research Rangers to Central TX communities. Any financial or physical donations would be appreciated (https://researchrangers.wp.txstate.edu/support-us/  https://www.wishlistr.com/researchrangerstxst/).

If you can contribute, please visit our project website. You can also contact Kristy Daniel (KristyDaniel@txstate.edu or Research.Rangers.TXST@gmail.com) to discuss our request or any questions you may have.

We thank you for your consideration and support,

Kristy Daniel & Carrie Jo Bucklin, Research Rangers Directors
